For Vortexa, 2021 has certainly started with a bang.

We celebrated our milestone fifth birthday and closed our phenomenal $19M Series B funding round, led by monashees with participation from all existing investors, including Notion Capital, Mosaic Ventures and Metaplanet Holdings

With our total funding now standing at more than $30 million, we’re ready to accelerate our product development and give our customers an ever sharper edge over their closest competitors. This additional capital allows us to double-down on expanding our transformative platform capabilities that empower energy and shipping companies to seize strategic market opportunities before others.

“The combination of state-of-the-art technology with energy market expertise provided by Vortexa is unlocking immense value for our clients, partners and society – our success is a reflection of theirs” said Fabio Kuhn, Founder and CEO of Vortexa. “With our Series B, we are well positioned to scale our international expansion and technology development even faster.”

Vortexa has experienced exponential growth since announcing its Series A in 2019, tripling revenues in 2020 and opening offices in Singapore and the U.S, while doubling our organisation to more than 70 people – and as 2021 begins, it is looking even more promising.

As our recruitment surge is kicked into overdrive, we’re committed to upholding and nourishing the core values underpinning our company culture. We are proud of the incredible diversity of our teams; with people hailing from a multitude of different backgrounds, races and ethnicities. The foundation of our success to date has been built on unifying values; adopting a pioneering spirit and driven mindset, remaining excellence-focused and fast-moving, and most importantly, building together in an open and closely collaborative environment.

The inclusive nature of Vortexa is a critical component of our company culture which we are dedicated to preserving throughout our international hiring surge. We are also proud of our five-star ratings on Glassdoor; with 100% of our reviewers stating that they would recommend us to a friend, have a positive business outlook and approve of our CEO. Vortexa scores 4.6 or above across all other categories.

As we push the boundaries of cutting-edge trading intelligence, we’re opening applications for ambitious individuals to join us in this next phase of growth – as we plan to double our organisation over the next 12 months. Although the impact we have made and continue to have on the energy ecosystem is evident, the opportunity to take it to new heights is the next chapter for us.
