What inspired you to join Vortexa?
After doing some research I was intrigued by what Vortexa does! I met with Jessica Irvin (Head of People & Operations) who truly embodied all of Vortexa’s core values. I later met with Fabio Kuhn (CEO) who, to this day, is still the same vibrant character as he was during our first meeting; a true visionary with drive and passion for Vortexa and the people who work alongside him.
”…’Friendly’ is the most common description shared with me [when discussing our company culture] and it’s not difficult to understand why! Everyone is warm, welcoming and sincere.”
What would you say is the most interesting aspect of your role?
The variety in my day-to-day schedule keeps things interesting, as no two days look the same! I also find driving forward many of the internal initiatives particularly engaging.
What have been some significant milestone moments for you at Vortexa?
Shaping the first Executive Assistant role within Vortexa has been a great privilege for me. I am also proud of arranging the first company social we had since the pandemic started, which turned out to be a great success!
What does day-to-day life look like for you as an Executive Assistant?
My role is ever-changing and multifaceted, although I do have a rough framework that dictates my diary. I spend my mornings identifying the most important tasks to complete for the remainder of the day and working week. My top priorities usually include arranging meetings for Fabio, our CEO, planning internal upcoming events and managing travel for colleagues. (These represent just a small handful of the tasks I am responsible for!)
