We sat down with Joanna Campos, a Senior NGL/LPG Analyst, to find out what day-to-day life looks like, what significant milestones she has had at Vortexa, and what she really thinks of our company culture…
Joanna is a Senior NGL/LPG Analyst, responsible for improving the overall data quality of ethane and LPG flows.
Prior to joining Vortexa, Joanna worked at IHS Markit as an NGL analyst covering global supply and demand balances.
Fun Fact: Joanna has successfully run diagnostics on her major appliances, (including a fried motherboard on a clothes drier, and a faulty igniter on an oven) and managed to fix them without calling a handyman!

What inspired you to join Vortexa?
Vortexa’s eagerness to gain market share and displace its competitors.

What have been some significant milestone moments for you at Vortexa?
Troubleshooting issues raised by clients and collaborating with the different teams within Vortexa to implement a solution.
What does day-to-day life look like for you as a Senior NGL/LPG Analyst?
As I am based in Houston, I always start my day by reading Slack messages. This way I can address any issues or questions before my counterparts in London leave for the day. Following this, there are typically either internal or external meetings to support. I end my day catching up on market updates and comparing reports to our platform.

What key qualities make a Senior NGL/LPG Analyst successful?
Overall, the ability to multi-task and keen attention to detail by developing a global understanding of the NGL/LPG market doesn’t hurt.
